My favourite breakfast porridge with pomegranate

Pomegranates are high in Vit B & C, iron, potassium, calcium, and tannic acid.


The delicious red seeds are ripe between October and November.


Its high content of phytochemicals, the polyphenols, is exceptional. These are considered to be powerful antioxidants that protect body cells from harmful reactions and neutralize harmful free radicals. Research is being carried out into possible positive effects of polyphenols and pomegranate on cancer and cardiovascular disorders.


Individual quantities:
Prepare the porridge of your choice with plant-based milk in a saucepan. Let it boil and steep for 1-2 minutes over a low heat. Put it in a bowl and mix in 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1 teaspoon of honey. Pumpkin seeds can be used as a topping for the right autumn feeling pecans, raisins and of course the pomegranate seeds are not missing.
